RIFF PARADE
Carnival Parade I July 11 I 10pm
Riff Parade is an improvisational music collective that focuses on creating music for the sake of music. It's made off-the-cuff, on spot live with whatever means available and is never to be played again.
The group started on Thayer Street in Providence playing for quarters and in about a month's time had grown to a rotating collection of 6 to 8 musicians, playing all different types of instruments from didgeridoo to trumpet to theremin to even homemade percussion all around New England.
