The Black Rep Hosts 2-Day Children’s Camp
in Partnership With Rhode Island Children’s Crusade
The milestone event took place on April 17-18 at the
PBRC and treated 200 young crusaders, and their chaperones for a two-day
marathon of arts and performance-based workshops that included African
and Trinidadian Steel Drumming, Acting/Performance, and Original Writing.
Both workshop days took place between the hours of
9:30am to 3:30pm. All participants were encouraged to address the introductory
theme of “What Can I Bring to the Providence Black Repertory Company?”
