FRIDAY JULY 20
WORKSHOP | BLACK REP STAGE | 4PM
The Hall Band, constituted in 2004, is the house band of the Rhode Island Rhythm & Blues Preservation Society and the brainchild of R&B vocalist/organist Thomas “Jose” Santos and sax player Eddie (Prof) Coates. These and other artists, who represent the band on occasion, are committed R&B preservationists who go back to the heart and soul of Rhode Island R&B and now donate their time to help keep this music alive and pass on the legacy. The main purpose of the band is to raise funds and showcase the R&B music style that the Society’s mission is dedicated to promoting, preserving and educating the public about.
