Boston Pan Vybz is a Dorchester-based, nonprofit steel band.
Pan Vybz seeks to educate inner city youth and adults about the culture and art of playing the steel pan, and to perform in all the communities of Boston and Eastern New England, helping spread its message of unity, peace, togetherness and brotherhood through music. The band was founded in 2000 and since then has participated in the Boston Caribbean American Carnival Parade (wining the award for best Pan band in 2006), Cambridge Carnival Parade and Providence Sound Session ’06.
